Holly was married at least three times. She was married to Danny Quinn, an actor. After two years of marriage and divorce in 1993, they divorced. She was introduced to Jim Carrey in 1994 during the auditions for Ace Ventura Pet Detective. While she did not receive the part of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, they did form an alliance while working on Dumb and Dumber. The couple got married in 1996. Alaina Suddeth was born in Rossville, Georgia, on 8 November 1994, to Kristy Suddeth, and J. J. Suddeth. Her father, who was an engineer from Tennessee who began singing at the age of three. in a choir for children and at an annual resort that featured karaoke, Alaina performed her first time at public events. She sang anywhere in a 30 mile radius, which included church services, at restaurants and other family occasions. Alaina was just 8 years old when she won The Southern Stars Pageant's talent competition. The following year Alaina won the contest for talent of children at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. It was a stage she performed on each year up to the age of 12 after which she took home the prize that enabled her to perform on the main stage of the festival. When she was ten years old she traveled from Orlando, Florida for the American Model and Talent Competition. She won more than 1500 children in the contest. Alaina sang in the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's youth chorus. Alaina's first trip to Nashville was when she was of 12 years old. She performed at Tootsie's Bar, which is a bar in the area that was located on Broadway. Alaina, who was born in the year 1989, took home the WinniSTAR talent contest for the youth who live at Lake Winnepesaukah. Alaina's cousin Holly Witherow was diagnosed with brain cancer, which encouraged her to begin singing. Alaina was a Pizza Hut employee before joining Idol.
